After reading [A sound of Thunder]

A Sound of Thunder, By Ray Bradbury (1952)

 Rating : 7 / 10

First of all, I thought the story was very refreshing. However, I thought that there seemed to be a lot of shortcomings in giving readers lessons or impressions except 'fun'. They are all creatures that will die anyway, so I wondered how big change would be if they died a little early. Therefore, I could understand that the novel tried to say that every small action could cause a great impact, but I couldn't feel it well because of the absurd development of the content.

Also, I thought it might be unfair for him to regard Eckels as too coward. If I were Eckels, I wouldn't have even thought of leaving in the "travel that I couldn't guarantee to return alive," but he went on a trip proudly and unfortunately ran away from the dinosaur hunt, which was the main event of the trip, but he could come back alive. Also, if his wrong footprints on the trip changed the future in a better direction, wouldn't Eckels have become a new hero? While reading the ending of the novel, I was curious about the backstory of the human world, after the alphabet arrangement changed and after Deutscher was elected president. (200 words)
